Visitor information Practicalities

The park is open daily from 9:30 AM until 5:30 PM. Except on Christmas Day and New Years Day, when the park is closed all day.

In very bad weather conditions, the park may be closed. This is to ensure safety for animals and people. You can read these exceptional cases directly on the website and on our social media channels; Facebook & Instagram.

The trails through the park are wheelchair friendly, and there are toilets for less-abled. The route through the park is  +/- 2,5 kilometres, with benches along the route to rest. We also have wheelchairs for rent.  The costs of a wheelchair is 3 euros rent and 25 euros deposit (please reserve a chair via  email ).

In the park there are various toilet facilities including disabled toilets. These are also indicated on the map in the park and in the leaflet that you receive at the entrance. In the restaurant next to Stichting Leeuw there is also a changing table for the little ones.

When a personal item is found by one of our employees or is handed over by a visitor, it will be taken to the entrance building. You can always contact us by email to find out if your lost item is here.

Pets are not allowed in the park, but service dogs are. You may be asked to show a service dog pass.

Please note: never leave your dog alone in your car. If we see a dog in a car in the parking area, we will inform the police. 

Smoking is only allowed in the designated areas of the park. Near the catering points are special smoking areas.

In het park are several Automated External Defibrillators. Most staff members are Emergency Response certified. Please consult the map for AED points.
